Veteran Pakistani actor Bushra Ansari has dismissed claims that she earns massive sums from YouTube, saying the reality of content creation is very different from what many people believe. Known for her work in television, comedy, writing and singing, Bushra said she began vlogging after being encouraged by fellow actors Nadia Khan and Javeria Saud. Speaking in a YouTube vlog featuring Nadia Khan, Bushra recalled how the two motivated her to launch and regularly manage her YouTube channel. “Yes, I started YouTube vlogging because you insisted. Javeria also encouraged me, and both of you motivated me and taught me a lot,” she said. The actor explained that she had been uploading videos consistently before her tour of Australia interrupted her schedule. “I had been doing it regularly, but my vlogging got interrupted during my Australia tour. Now, I have started again. It’s going fine,” she said. Bushra rejected widespread assumptions that YouTube creators automatically earn thousands of dollars every month. “It’s not like I’m earning ten thousand dollars, as people claim. Many people think we make huge amounts from YouTube, but that’s not true,” she said. She added that managing a YouTube channel alongside a demanding acting career is challenging. “We have many other commitments as well. Now I will be going to Canada and will vlog from there too.
