Muzaffargarh police recovered a citizen, Talha Rashid, who was allegedly abducted by kidnappers, and also recovered the ransom money from Lahore on Monday. According to police, the Shahr Sultan Police Station team recovered Talha with the help of modern technology and social media. The police also recovered Rs45 lakh ransom money and an iPhone and handed them over to his family. District Police Officer (DPO) Muzaffargarh Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah said the victim was safely recovered from Lahore and returned to his family. He appreciated the efforts of SHO Shahr Sultan Inspector Sajid Sultan and his team for their quick action. He said the police team used modern technology to trace the location of the abducted citizen and worked in coordination with Lahore Police to complete the operation successfully. The DPO handed over the recovered money to Talha’s family and presented a certificate of appreciation to SHO Shahr Sultan for his performance. The family members thanked the police team and praised their efforts for the safe recovery of Talha.
