Kim Kardashian throws celebration for Lewis Hamilton 1st Formula 1 win

Published on: June 16, 2026 10:27 AM

Kim Kardashian led the celebrations for her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton after the Formula 1 legend claimed his first victory for Ferrari at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix on Sunday, 14 June.

The reality star and businesswoman, 45, took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of Hamilton being cheered on by his team, stamping her support with a gold trophy emoji and a red heart.

The family celebrations extended well beyond Kim herself, over on Khloe Kardashian’s Stories, Kim’s eight-year-old daughter Chicago West was captured jumping up and down in front of the TV as Hamilton, 41, crossed the line, joined by her cousin True, also eight. The two girls then posed together in front of the screen, both winking for the camera.

Khloe, 41, who attended the Monaco Grand Prix with Kim earlier this month, also shared footage of Hamilton speaking at the post-race press conference, captioning it “Let’s go” before posting a photo of him standing atop the podium.

The Barcelona win arrives just weeks after the couple made their relationship very publicly official. On 7 June at the Monaco Grand Prix, a social media clip showed Hamilton walking through a crowd of spectators before finding Kim and kissing her on the cheek, pulling her in for an embrace.

Hamilton subsequently addressed the relationship with reporters. “It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” he said. “She does that for me every day.”

Hamilton finished second in Monaco, prompting Formula 1’s official Instagram account to share a clip of Kim filming his trophy presentation, during which Hamilton appeared to blow her a kiss.

Kim documented the Monaco trip across her own grid, including photos of her and Khloe trackside in matching Ferrari-red earmuffs and a shot of Kim kissing one of Hamilton’s race helmets. “Monaco memories,” she captioned the post.

Us Weekly confirmed in February that the pair had moved their long-time friendship into romance, with the relationship growing increasingly serious through the spring.

Sunday’s Barcelona victory, Hamilton’s first for Ferrari, gave the whole family something to celebrate.
