According to the statement, both sides agreed to maintain close coordination on Afghanistan-related matters and further deepen strategic cooperation under the China-Pakistan partnership.

Pakistan reaffirmed its support for the “One China” policy and expressed backing for China’s position on Taiwan. In return, China reiterated its support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security.

The statement also underscored both countries’ commitment to advancing high-quality development under CPEC 2.0 and transforming Gwadar Port into a regional connectivity hub.

Both sides agreed to strengthen land connectivity through the Khunjerab Pass and continue phased work on the Karakoram Highway Thakot-Raikot project. China also invited third countries to participate in CPEC-related initiatives.

The two countries further agreed to expand cooperation in textiles, home appliances, minerals, oil and gas, agriculture, artificial intelligence and the digital economy. China also announced 3,000 training opportunities for Pakistan between 2025 and 2029.
