LHC-copyThe Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday issued transfer and posting orders of 266 Additional District and Sessions Judges (AD&SJs) across Punjab with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Registrar Office, the transfers and postings were approved by the Chief Justice in the public interest.
Under the orders, Farkhanda Arshad was transferred from Attock to Kasur, while Saadat Hussain Malik was posted from Attock to Pattoki. Umar Rasheed was transferred from Fateh Jang to Hafizabad and Harris Ali was moved from Bahawalnagar to Faisalabad.
The notification stated that the reshuffle was aimed at improving administrative efficiency and ensuring smooth functioning of courts across the province.
The transferred judicial officers have been directed to assume charge at their new stations immediately.
