
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Balochistan’s development and prosperity remain the government’s top priority. He made the remarks during a meeting in Islamabad with a delegation of senior political leaders from the province.
The delegation included Senator Mir Dostain Khan Domki, Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, Sardar Changez Marri, and Mir Khuda Bakhsh Marri. They discussed development issues, infrastructure needs, and public welfare challenges in Balochistan.

The prime minister said Balochistan is rich in natural resources and stressed that local communities must benefit from them. He highlighted the need to improve basic services such as health, water, and infrastructure across the province.
Shehbaz Sharif said the federal government is working closely with the provincial government to speed up development projects. He added that joint efforts are underway to improve connectivity and create economic opportunities in the region.

Officials said the meeting reviewed ongoing projects and discussed ways to improve implementation. The delegation welcomed the government’s focus and expressed hope for continued cooperation on development priorities.
