Bahrain has arrested 41 individuals linked to a group associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the country’s Interior Ministry. Authorities said the arrests were based on security investigations and intelligence reports involving espionage and foreign interference. Legal proceedings against the detainees are currently underway.
The Interior Ministry said the operation followed coordinated efforts by public prosecutors and security agencies. Officials stated that investigations are ongoing to identify others possibly involved in the alleged network. Authorities also confirmed continued searches targeting individuals connected to activities deemed illegal under national law.

Bahraini officials described the case as part of wider efforts to counter external security threats. The ministry said those detained are suspected of involvement in activities that violate domestic security regulations. It added that further action will be taken against anyone proven to be part of the group.
The arrests come amid heightened regional tensions following earlier attacks involving Iran and its regional adversaries. Bahrain has previously detained individuals it linked to Iranian networks during periods of escalation. Authorities have repeatedly cited concerns over espionage and interference in internal affairs.
