Pakistan’s military said it defeated a much larger adversary during the “Marka-e-Haq” campaign. DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry made the remarks during a joint military press conference. The statement matters because tensions between Pakistan and India remain high over security and Kashmir issues.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry addressed the media alongside Pakistan Air Force and Navy officers. He said Pakistan’s armed forces fulfilled national expectations with professionalism and preparedness. Moreover, he described the conflict as a multi-domain struggle involving land, air, sea, cyberspace, and public perception.

He claimed Pakistan successfully countered hostile narratives and external pressure during the past year. Furthermore, he said even Indian citizens understood Pakistan’s position despite political disagreements between both countries.
The military spokesperson strongly rejected India’s accusations linking Pakistan to terrorism. He claimed India created misleading narratives to isolate Pakistan internationally. However, he argued that global opinion no longer fully accepts those accusations.

He also revisited the Pahalgam incident and questioned India’s handling of the investigation. According to him, unanswered questions still surround the attack and the alleged militant targets. Therefore, he urged India to provide evidence supporting its claims against Pakistan.
During the briefing, the DG ISPR also discussed the long-running Kashmir dispute. He said Kashmir remains an internationally recognized issue instead of an internal Indian matter. Additionally, he accused India of using aggressive political rhetoric against Pakistan.
He warned that Pakistan would respond strongly to any conventional or unconventional aggression. Furthermore, he stressed that Pakistan’s military remains fully prepared for future challenges across multiple domains. His remarks reflected continued tensions between the neighboring nuclear-armed states.
