Pakistan Women Crush Zimbabwe by 206 Runs in ODI

Pakistan Women’s cricket team achieved a record-breaking ODI victory over Zimbabwe Women, winning by 206 runs in the second match. This dominant performance gave Pakistan a 2-0 lead in the series. The match was played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Batting first, Pakistan Women posted a massive total of 343 runs for 4 wickets in 50 overs. Moreover, the strong start set the foundation for a commanding performance. As a result, the team put Zimbabwe under immediate pressure.

Openers Gull Feroza and Sadaf Shamas delivered a historic partnership of 189 runs. Gull Feroza scored a brilliant 100 runs before getting out. Meanwhile, Sadaf Shamas played a stunning innings of 101 runs, making history in the process.

In addition, Sidra Amin contributed an unbeaten 59 runs to strengthen the total. Her steady batting helped Pakistan maintain momentum throughout the innings. Therefore, the team finished with a highly competitive and challenging score.

In response, Zimbabwe Women failed to chase the target of 344 runs. They were bowled out for just 137 runs. Furthermore, Pessy Punoia scored 33 and Mutangwondo added 29 runs, but the team collapsed under pressure.

In conclusion, Pakistan Women Secure Record-Breaking ODI Victory highlights the team’s historic 206-run win, the biggest in their ODI history. Bowlers Fatima Sana, Arub Shah, Momina Iqbal, and Rameen Shamim played key roles. Therefore, Pakistan continues its dominant form in the series.
