
The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched a strict recovery campaign against PSL stakeholders over pending payments. The move comes after repeated delays in settling financial dues. Officials have warned of contract termination if payments are not made on time. The action has created uncertainty over final revenue distribution.
According to PCB sources, billions of rupees remain outstanding from multiple stakeholders. The board had already initiated recovery efforts during the PSL season. However, repeated reminders failed to produce results. As a result, authorities adopted a tougher enforcement strategy.

Notices were issued to several franchises and entities with a deadline of April 29. Officials said non-payment could lead to contract termination. Following the warning, some franchises cleared their outstanding dues. The PCB stressed that franchise fees are mandatory under agreements.
The board highlighted complications in revenue sharing from previous PSL editions. Officials said payments cannot be released until all stakeholders clear their dues. A major stakeholder reportedly owes PKR 4.7 billion to the PCB. The issue has delayed final settlement of accounts.

The PCB has now secured a bank guarantee from the new media rights holder. Officials said this step ensures financial protection in case of default. Meanwhile, new franchises have already paid their fees in advance. Final revenue distribution will be determined after full account reconciliation.
