Survey Shows Pakistanis Support Leadership In US Iran Mediation Efforts

A majority of Pakistanis have praised the leadership role in US-Iran mediation efforts. A new survey shows strong public support for both military and political leadership. Therefore, many citizens recognize these efforts as important for regional stability and diplomacy.

Moreover, according to the survey, 55 percent of respondents appreciated Field Marshal Asim Munir for his role. Meanwhile, 38 percent praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. These figures highlight public confidence in key decision-makers.

In addition, 45 percent of Pakistanis described the mediation between the United States and Iran as a major achievement. They believe it reflects Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence. Furthermore, 37 percent said these efforts improved the country’s global image.

The survey also explored which countries supported the mediation efforts. About 58 percent of respondents named China as a key supporter. Similarly, 42 percent pointed to Turkey, showing strong regional backing for the initiative.

Meanwhile, 31 percent of participants mentioned Saudi Arabia as a supporter. Additionally, 24 percent identified Russia as playing a supportive role. These responses suggest that multiple global players are seen as backing the mediation process.

Finally, the survey concludes that the majority Pakistanis praise leadership role in US-Iran mediation efforts. It reflects growing trust in national leadership. Overall, the findings indicate optimism about Pakistan’s role in international diplomacy.
