
Medical specialists visited Adiala Jail to examine Bushra Bibi after concerns over her eye condition, as doctors carried out follow-up assessments inside the facility. The visit came as part of ongoing treatment arrangements coordinated between jail authorities and medical teams from leading hospitals.
Doctors from Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital and PIMS Hospital reached the jail equipped with specialised instruments to evaluate her post-surgery recovery. Officials said the medical team focused on monitoring the condition of her right eye following recent surgical intervention.

Reports indicate that Bushra Bibi underwent eye surgery on April 17 after being diagnosed with retinal detachment, a serious condition affecting vision. Since the procedure, doctors have continued regular check-ups to ensure proper healing and assess whether further treatment is required.
Meanwhile, separate medical updates confirmed that Imran Khan also received follow-up eye treatment at PIMS Hospital on April 28. Doctors administered an anti-VEGF intravitreal injection as part of his ongoing ophthalmology care plan.

Health officials stated that the treatment for Imran Khan marks the fourth dose in a continuing medical regimen aimed at managing his eye condition. They added that specialists are closely monitoring his progress to determine the effectiveness of the injections over time.
In addition, family members of Bushra Bibi arrived at the Factory Naka checkpoint in an attempt to meet her but were stopped by security personnel. Authorities informed them that they would be allowed to proceed to Adiala Jail only after obtaining the necessary permission under prison regulations.
