
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Chinese Consulate in Karachi on Tuesday. He met Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong to discuss bilateral cooperation. The talks focused on investment facilitation and security arrangements for Chinese citizens in Pakistan.
During the meeting, Naqvi briefed the Chinese side on security measures for Chinese nationals. He assured that all issues faced by Chinese businessmen would be resolved on priority. He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe investment environment.

The minister announced plans to hold a conference in Islamabad soon. The event will address concerns of Chinese investors and business representatives. The Chinese Consul General and business community will be invited to participate.
Naqvi said Chinese investors are playing a key role in Pakistan’s development. He stressed that providing a business-friendly environment remains a top government priority. He reaffirmed efforts to expand Chinese investment across multiple sectors.

The Chinese Consul General appreciated the minister’s efforts and coordination. He also expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements for Chinese nationals in Pakistan. Both sides agreed to continue strengthening economic and strategic cooperation.
