The Commissioner directed all concerned departments to expedite rescue and rehabilitation work and ensure public safety.

He also stressed the need for an effective strategy to deal with potential future landslide risks, adding that the government will utilize all available resources for the rehabilitation of affected areas.

Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Murree, Umar Awais Kiayni, paid a detailed visit to the Jhika Gali landslide site to review ongoing relief, safety, and rehabilitation measures.
