The hearing of the foreign funding case against PTI founder and others in the Islamabad Banking Court was adjourned till April 2, due to the unavailability of Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar.
Due to the non-availability of the judge, no progress could be made in the case even up to the point of issuing a challan, while the court also extended the interim bail of accused Siraj Ahmed and Faisal Qazi till April 2.
Separately, an anti-terrorism Court (ATC) Judge on Wednesday testified a witness and summoned more for statements on next hearing in a case regarding violent protest on the disqualification of PTI founder.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra heard the case wherein statement of one more prosecution witness recorded. Defense lawyers could not cross-examine witnesses today either.
The court directed to present other witnesses at next hearing and adjourned hearing of case till April 8.
A case has been registered against PakistanTehreek-e-Insaaf leaders under terrorism provisions in Police Station I-9 sector, Islamabad.
