
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced official public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr, allowing residents and government employees across the province to celebrate the religious festival with their families. Authorities confirmed that the holidays will be observed for three consecutive days from March 19 to March 21.
According to a notification issued by the provincial Administrative Affairs Department, all government offices and institutions will remain closed during the announced holiday period. Officials said the decision aims to facilitate smooth celebrations and provide citizens enough time to participate in Eid gatherings and traditions.

Meanwhile, the government of Balochistan has taken a separate step to assist employees before the festival. Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti announced that salaries for all provincial government employees have been transferred to their bank accounts ahead of the Eid holidays.
Bugti said the early payment was arranged to ensure that employees could celebrate Eid without financial pressure. He added that the provincial administration had already instructed relevant departments to complete the salary disbursement process before the holidays.

The chief minister further emphasized that timely payments were especially important for employees living in remote areas. He directed authorities to strictly implement the decision so that workers across the province could receive their salaries without delay.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s intention to support public servants during the festive season. By ensuring early salary payments and smooth holiday arrangements, authorities hope employees can prepare for Eid celebrations with ease and spend quality time with their families.
