Gwadar to host Youth Summit 2026

The coastal city of Gwadar is set to emerge as a hub for youth engagement and leadership as more than 4,000 young leaders, students, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Pakistan are expected to gather for the National Youth Summit Gwadar Balochistan 2026.

It is scheduled to take place from April 7 to 9, and themed “Learn, Innovate, Lead-Empowering the next generation through mentorship, training, and community building, Gwadar Pro reported.

The Directorate of Youth Affairs Balochistan opened registrations for the summit on Thursday, registrations for which will continue until March 27, inviting participants, organizations, startups and youth initiatives from across the country.

Stall registrations have also been opened for groups interested in showcasing their services, projects and products during the event.

As per the Directorate of Youth Affairs Balochistan, the three-day summit aims to connect ambitious young people with policymakers, industry experts and development leaders, highlighting Gwadar’s growing role as a meeting point for youth-driven dialogue, innovation and collaboration.

Senior government officials are also expected to attend the summit. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony as chief guest, while Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, is expected to participate in the event, reflecting the government’s focus on youth empowerment and development.

Organizers say the event will feature leadership training sessions focused on strategic thinking, decision-making and effective communication, which will be led by experienced industry professionals and mentors.

The program includes expert mentorship opportunities, allowing participants to receive one-on-one guidance from successful entrepreneurs, executives and thought leaders from various sectors.
