Pakistan carried out precision strikes on terrorist camps and support infrastructure in Afghanistan during the night of March 12–13. Officials said the operation targeted militant facilities threatening Pakistan’s security. The strikes signal escalating tensions between Islamabad and the Afghan Taliban administration.
According to officials, Pakistani forces destroyed four key militant locations. One target included infrastructure linked to the 313 Corps headquarters in Kabul, including an ammunition depot. Authorities said the facility supported militant activities against Pakistan.
Two other strikes hit sites in Kandahar. One targeted the Tarawo terrorist training camp, while another destroyed militant infrastructure including an oil storage facility. Officials said the sites served as training and logistical hubs for armed groups.
Another strike targeted the Sher-e-Nau terrorist camp in Paktia. Pakistani authorities said the facility was used by militants planning cross-border attacks. Security officials described the operation as a direct response to continued militant threats.
Officials stressed that Pakistan’s message to the Afghan Taliban leadership is clear. They demanded an end to support for militant groups and sheltering their leaders. Authorities warned that continued support for terrorists could trigger further consequences.
