In his statement on the social media platform X, he said that this decision will particularly affect the poor and middle class, putting additional strain on their household budgets. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon urged the federal government to reconsider this decision of raise in petroleum prices and provide the people with genuine and meaningful economic relief.
