38 bandits surrender in Kashmore, Sukkur

Published on: February 2, 2026 1:26 AM

Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has said that the Sindh Government’s effective and result-oriented “Surrender Policy” is yielding positive outcomes.

He claimed that, under the policy, 26 notorious and wanted dacoits in Kashmore district have laid down their arms and surrendered before the police and law enforcement agencies.

The Home Minister said that just a day earlier in Sukkur, 12 dacoits had also surrendered themselves to the law, which clearly proves that due to the ongoing mega operation in the katcha areas, criminal elements are under severe pressure and fear while the writ of the state is being further strengthened.

He said that the joint operation by the police, Sindh Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies will continue with full force until the complete restoration of law and order and elimination of crime. He made it clear that with the passage of time, this massive operation will become faster, more effective, and more decisive.

Issuing a clear message to criminal elements, Lanjar said, “I urge the dacoits to surrender and lay down their arms instead of falling within the ambit of the massive operation. The Sindh Government has shown the path to peace. Those, who comply, will be welcomed. It is better to take advantage of the surrender policy now rather than regret later.”

He further said that the tri-junction border and katcha areas are special targets of the mega operation and the elimination of dacoits, their hideouts, and facilitators is inevitable. The Sindh Government with firm resolve and clear objectives will continue operations until the last dacoit is eliminated.

The Sindh Home Minister appreciated the outstanding, professional, and exemplary performance of the DIG, SSP Kashmore, SSP Sukkur and their entire team, and congratulated them. He also termed the role of Sindh Rangers and other law enforcement agencies working shoulder to shoulder with the police as commendable.

According to details, the dacoits, who surrendered during the joint operation of the police, Sindh Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies in Kashmore district included Abdul Rahim alias Adro Sher, Taj Muhammad son of Qaiser Sher, Abdul Majeed son of Ali Hassan Sher, Allah Din son of Bago Sher, Jamal Din son of Bajhi Sher, Muhammad Nawaz alias Shado son of Lalan Sher, Asif Bhyo son of Shah Nawaz Bhyo, Ghaus Bakhsh son of Noor Hassan Bhyo, Yaqoob son of Muhammad Bakhsh, Waseem son of Arz Muhammad Bhyo, Yar Muhammad son of Ali Muhammad Bhyo, Irshad son of Ali Muhammad Bhyo, Aashiq alias Mashooq son of Shah Nawaz Bhyo, Imtiaz Ali son of Dost Ali Bhyo, Muhammad Ali son of Shah Mir Bhyo, Zafar Ali son of Allah Dino Bhyo, Manzoor son of Pyaro Bhyo, Abdul Salam son of Subedar Bhyo, Muhammad Qasim son of Shafee Muhammad Sher, Sanaullah son of Shafee Muhammad Sher, Abdul Aziz son of Badihel Sher, Sadiq son of Rehman Sher, Allah Bakhsh son of Ghulam Nabi Sher, Abdul Rahim alias Adro son of Taj Muhammad Sher, Zulfiqar alias Bhutto son of Bashir Ahmed Sabzoi, and Wajid son of Faqeer Muhammad Sabzoi.

All these accused have been involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion, murder, attempted murder, police encounters and other heinous crimes, claimed.
