2026 Grammy Nominations: Rose and 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' create HISTORY with 'APT' and 'Golden' | - The Times of India

BLACKPINK star ROSÉ is reflecting on what she calls living the “impossible” for the second time in her career, as she opens up about earning three Grammy nominations for her solo work. The K-pop icon recently compared the milestone to her life-changing debut with BLACKPINK, the globally successful girl group that launched her to stardom alongside Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie.

A few months after her collaborative single APT. with Bruno Mars earned nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, ROSÉ shared her emotions in an upcoming interview snippet. “This Grammy nomination, it feels like, ‘Oh my gosh! I never thought that would be possible,’” she said. While acknowledging the massive success and love BLACKPINK has received over the years, ROSÉ explained that the feeling surrounding her solo recognition mirrors the excitement and disbelief she experienced at the start of her career.

Speaking on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the singer described the moment as entering a “second chapter” of her life. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh!’” she said, expressing awe at how her journey continues to evolve.

ROSÉ further reflected on her early days when she was selected through an open YG Entertainment audition and moved to South Korea. She explained that the emotions she felt then closely resemble what she is experiencing now. “I think it’s the same feeling as this nomination,” the 28-year-old New Zealand–South Korean singer-songwriter shared.
