
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a high-level meeting with Balochistan leaders Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti at Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Officials said the discussions focused on the law and order situation in Balochistan, public welfare programs, and other matters of mutual interest. The meeting emphasized enhancing coordination between the federal government and the province to ensure sustainable peace and development.

Speaker Sadiq highlighted the importance of safeguarding the rights of women and youth, noting their role in social progress and long-term stability. He described Balochistan as holding a special place in his priorities and stressed that resolving the province’s challenges remains a key focus of the government.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to the immediate and effective implementation of infrastructure, education, and health projects in Balochistan. He termed the welfare and development of the province’s people a national responsibility.
CM Bugti praised the efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and stability. Participants also lauded Speaker Sadiq’s role in strengthening federal-provincial linkages and his effective conduct of National Assembly proceedings.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to deepen cooperation between the federal government and Balochistan authorities in the interest of peace, stability, and development.
