
Dense fog and freezing temperatures continued to disrupt daily life across Pakistan, as poor visibility affected air travel, slowed road movement, and forced authorities to shut key motorways overnight.
At Allama Iqbal International Airport, thick mist partially disrupted flight operations, leading to delays for several international departures and creating inconvenience for passengers amid prolonged winter conditions.

Meanwhile, a Pakistan International Airlines flight bound for Madinah departed nearly three hours late, while another international flight to Abu Dhabi was cancelled due to dangerously low visibility.
At the same time, dense fog blanketed major highways, prompting authorities to close multiple motorway sections including M2, M3, M4, M5, and M11, as visibility dropped to unsafe levels.

Additionally, national highways in Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and surrounding areas faced heavy traffic disruptions, with vehicles moving slowly under hazardous conditions.
In response, the Motorway Police advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and recommended daytime journeys only, stressing that fog-related accidents pose serious risks to public safety.
