
Pakistan is observing the 149th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah today with respect and pride. A public holiday has been declared across the country. The main ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
Across the country, special seminars, conferences, and commemorative events are taking place. These programs highlight Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership, vision, and historic struggle. Meanwhile, institutions are paying tribute through speeches and educational discussions.

At Mazar-e-Quaid, a dignified guard-changing ceremony was held with full military honors. Major General Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry attended the ceremony as the chief guest. A Pakistan Army contingent presented a formal salute at the mausoleum.
Army cadets took over guard duties and offered Fateha at the mausoleum. The chief guest laid a wreath and recorded remarks in the visitors’ book. Similarly, a guard of honour and flag-hoisting ceremony will be held at Quaid Residency in Ziarat.
Quaid-e-Azam was born on December 25, 1876, in Karachi. He transformed the dream of Pakistan into reality through firm leadership. His principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline continue to guide the nation.
