Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid glowing tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 149th birth anniversary, calling him a visionary leader whose principles continue to guide the nation.

In his message, the prime minister said the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam was an occasion for the entire nation to renew its commitment to implementing his guiding political principles, ideals of state welfare, and teachings of lasting social reform.

He said Quaid-e-Azam laid the foundations of Pakistan’s state system on the principles of religious harmony, social tolerance, and justice, without discrimination of color, race, or creed. Highlighting Quaid-e-Azam’s golden principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline, the prime minister said these ideals not only guaranteed a bright future for the country but also served as a beacon of guidance for future generations. The prime minister described Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a great leader and statesman of global stature whose political wisdom and selfless leadership played a decisive role in the creation of Pakistan and in shaping the political destiny of the Muslims of the Subcontinent. He said Quaid-e-Azam’s unwavering resolve, courage, firm determination, and sincere struggle turned the dream of millions of Muslims into the reality of an independent and sovereign state.

The prime minister said Quaid-e-Azam worked tirelessly with sincerity and dedication for the establishment of a free, sovereign, and welfare state, successfully confronting political opposition and imperial forces.

The prime minister urged the nation to renew its pledge to follow in the footsteps of Quaid-e-Azam and work collectively with selfless dedication in all spheres of life for the honor, security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.
