Pakistan’s government launched a digital platform called ‘Zarkhizi’ to provide farmers loans up to Rs10 lakh. The app allows farmers to apply digitally, and approved applications are sent to their chosen bank for processing.
Under the scheme, 75% of the financing will be provided as agricultural goods through bank-approved vendors. Farmers will also receive advisory services via the Land Information Management System (LIMS) to improve crop production.
