Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of MCL and declared the installation of 10,000 street lights on more than 100 roads of the city, a historic project.
The project, which had been dark for a long time, was completed under a sustainable model. More than 10,000 street lights were installed, providing safe travel facilities to the public.
It is worth mentioning here that more than 2,000 lights are functional on a 35-kilometer-long corridor. Likewise, more than one lakh bulbs and lights have been installed for lighting in the streets. The Chief Minister of Punjab has said that the beauty and public convenience of Lahore are the top priority.
