Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s four seats saw 11 candidates including Syed Amjad Shah, former Senator Noor Alam Khan, Qazi Muhammad Arshad, Khush Dil Khan, Rehmanullah, and Atlas Khan. Balochistan’s single seat attracted five aspirants, while Islamabad Capital Territory has two contenders — Raja Rizwan Abbasi and Syed Qamar Hussain Shah Sabzwari.

Most candidates are current or former members of the PBC, with the main contest expected between the Hamid Khan-led group and the Ahsan Bhoon-led independent faction, also known as the Asma Jahangir group, which holds a majority in the outgoing cabinet.
