Peshawar Zalmi has renewed its Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise agreement for another 10 years. The current owners will continue to hold the team after an updated valuation by EY MENA.
Zalmi is the most-watched PSL team, with strong fan engagement and commercial impact. Fans celebrated the long-term extension as a sign of stability and commitment to the league.
The 11th edition of the PSL next year will feature eight teams, including two new additions. The franchise’s popularity has been credited to leadership under Javed Afridi.
