
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s entertainment industry was left in shock on Tuesday after a powerful explosion in Islamabad’s G-11 area claimed 12 lives and left at least 36 injured, prompting a wave of grief and condemnation across social media.
Prominent actors, musicians, and artists expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, calling for solidarity, peace, and an end to senseless violence.
Maya Ali, visibly heartbroken, wrote, “Khudaya reham karo (God, have mercy). No one gains anything from this cruelty.”

Veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui reaffirmed faith in humanity’s strength, saying, “Peace will always triumph over violence.”
Rapper Talha Anjum voiced strong support for the country’s anti-terrorism efforts, declaring that those responsible “cannot be rehabilitated — they must be neutralised.”
Farhan Saeed offered prayers for the victims, expressing hope for a “peaceful and stable Pakistan.”
Actor Osman Khalid Butt shared a heartfelt prayer for the departed and urged for safety and protection for all citizens, while Bilal Ashraf said his “heart goes out to every single person affected.”
