LAHORE – Superstar Fawad Khan has responded with humor to criticism surrounding his selection as a judge on the revived season of Pakistan Idol after a decade-long hiatus.
The singing competition has returned with a star-studded panel featuring Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zeb Bangash, Bilal Maqsood, and Fawad Khan. However, the show has stirred online debate, with many questioning the inclusion of Fawad and Bilal, arguing that the younger generation may not be familiar with their musical work.
Singer Humaira Arshad also voiced her disapproval of Fawad’s appointment, suggesting that judges should be selected based on contemporary musical relevance.
