The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 3 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 280.92 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 280.95. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 282.60 and Rs 282.9, respectively. The price of the Euro decreased by 52 paisa to close at Rs 326.19 against the last day’s closing of Rs 326.71, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen came down by 2 paisa and closed at Rs 1.82, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of 55 paisa and closed at Rs 370.62 compared to the previous day’s Rs371.17. The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal declined by 1 and 2 paisa to close at Rs 76.48 and Rs 74.90, respectively.
