Dar emphasized that Pakistan’s foreign policy is rooted in the principles of the UN Charter, including sovereignty, non-interference, self-determination, and peaceful dispute resolution, reflecting Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision. He noted that Pakistan has long been an active participant in the UN system, ranking among the top contributors to peacekeeping operations and hosting the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP).
