Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended warm greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and around the world on the joyous occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights, hope, and renewal.
He said in his message that Diwali reminds us that light always triumphs over darkness, and truth, peace, and love prevail over hate and division.
He said that following the ideology of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the PPP remains committed to building a progressive and inclusive Pakistan where all faiths coexist in dignity and harmony.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lauded the Hindu community’s invaluable contributions to Pakistan’s cultural and national life and urged all citizens to embrace Diwali’s true spirit of compassion, unity, and hope.
He extended his best wishes to the Hindu community, expressing hope that their lives shine brightly, like the lights of Diwali, with happiness, harmony, and prosperity.
Governor of Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori and Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to the Hindu community here on Monday.
In their separate messages, they wished the Hindu community around the world including in Sindh a joyous Diwali.
They said that Diwali was a festival of joy, lights, peace, and love.
Sindh was a land of peace and love, they said adding that all religions in Pakistan celebrated their happiness freely.
On the occasion of Diwali, the Governor Kamran Tessori and Chief Minister Murad Shah emphasized promoting interfaith harmony.
