Pakistan, Egypt join forces to push for lasting peace in Gaza

Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to work together to achieve lasting peace in Gaza. On Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and the critical situation in Gaza. Both emphasized the need for a durable ceasefire to end ongoing violence. Their conversation reflected strong diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During the call, the ministers discussed recent regional efforts involving Arab and Islamic countries. These talks in New York focus on securing an immediate ceasefire and ensuring humanitarian aid reaches affected people. They also stressed the importance of coordinated initiatives to build a sustainable peace process in Gaza. Pakistan reaffirmed its full support for these diplomatic efforts.
