A Lahore court on Thursday rejected the bail plea of popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai in the ongoing gambling app promotion case. The decision was announced by the Sessions Judge after reviewing the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) evidence, which reportedly links the influencer to promoting the illegal app. The case has drawn wide attention due to the involvement of high-profile social media personalities.
Earlier, on September 29, the court had adjourned the hearing on the bail applications of Ducky Bhai and his wife, Arooba Jatoi. At that time, the investigating officer appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Dr. Sajida Ahmed, requesting additional time to complete the inquiry. The court had accepted the request, directing the officer to present a full investigation record at the next session, which ultimately influenced today’s outcome.
According to court records, Ducky Bhai’s post-arrest bail plea and Arooba Jatoi’s interim bail application were both under consideration. However, with the FIA producing multiple pieces of evidence pointing to active involvement in promoting the gambling app, the judge decided to dismiss his request. As a result, the YouTuber remains behind bars on judicial remand.

The FIA launched its investigation after uncovering the app’s connection to online betting and fraudulent activities that reportedly caused heavy financial losses to the public. Officials claim that Ducky Bhai, alongside several other influencers, actively promoted the application on digital platforms, thereby encouraging widespread usage among their followers. This, according to investigators, established clear grounds for legal action against the accused individuals.
Despite the allegations, the couple—Saad (Ducky Bhai) and Arooba—continue to deny involvement, arguing they were unaware of the app’s illegal nature. Their defense maintains that the promotions were carried out without knowledge of the app’s fraudulent background. However, the prosecution insists that the evidence presented shows deliberate engagement, which makes the case a significant test for accountability in Pakistan’s growing digital influencer space.
