TikToker Samiya Hijab forgives ex-fiancé, withdraws harassment cases

Published on: September 13, 2025 2:16 PM

TikToker Samiya Hijab has forgiven her former fiancé, Hassan Zahid, and decided to withdraw all legal cases against him. She had earlier accused Zahid of harassment, attempted kidnapping, and physical assault. Samiya announced her decision “for God’s sake” after receiving a written promise from Zahid not to harm her again.

On September 1, Samiya posted a video on Instagram accusing Zahid of trying to abduct her and physically assaulting her. The Islamabad Police acted swiftly and arrested Zahid. The court initially gave Zahid to the police on physical remand. Later, on September 12, the court sent him to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

After Zahid was jailed, Samiya confirmed she had reconciled with him. She explained that Zahid’s family asked for her forgiveness. Zahid himself gave a written assurance promising no future action against her. Samiya stressed that no money was involved in this settlement.

Previously, Samiya feared Zahid might take revenge if released without punishment. She accused him of physical abuse and harassment in many videos and interviews. Now, she says the issue is resolved, and she feels safe again. Samiya has confirmed that she will no longer pursue legal proceedings against Zahid.

This development closes a difficult chapter for Samiya, who publicly shared her ordeal. Her decision shows forgiveness and a desire to move forward peacefully. The public and media continue to watch the case with interest.
