Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety paid a significant visit to the Pakistan Baitulmal (PBM) Head Office in Islamabad today. During his visit, he met with Managing Director PBM and discussed plans for his upcoming visits to various provincial offices across Pakistan, with a particular focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the commendable work being done by PBM and praised DG PBM for his recent contributions and innovative approach to work on recent programs, including Capacity Building, System Efficiency, and introducing a Whistle Blowing policy in the organization. He reinforced PBM to introduce new and innovative approaches for better service delivery.
DG PBM explained the vision of MD PBM, Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, for Digitization, System Efficiency, Enhancement of Portfolio of Stakeholders, and Reframing the Existing Infrastructure of services and policies. He highlighted that PBM is the only organization in Pakistan with the largest infrastructure and extended programs for human development, empowerment, health, and education.
DG PBM further added that since MD PBM Senator Shaheen Butt joined the PBM office, commendable and surprising developments have been made, which would be written as history on record.
