
KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy held its 2025 Investiture Ceremony at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi, to honor outstanding naval personnel. Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, was the chief guest and presented various prestigious military awards in recognition of exemplary service, leadership, and bravery.
The highest honors, Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), were awarded to senior commanders including Commodores Rashid Mahmood Sheikh, Tasawar Iqbal, Aamir Iqbal, and others for their exceptional leadership and contributions to naval operations and strategy. Likewise, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) was presented to captains and commanders who demonstrated dedication and professionalism in various critical roles within the navy.
Bravery awards, Tamgha-i-Basalat (Military), were conferred on personnel such as Commander Munawar Ahmed Bhatti and Commander Naeem Ahmed Khan for acts of valor and courage during challenging missions. In addition to these senior awards, 31 awards of TK (M)-I, 53 awards of TK (M)-II, and 99 awards of TK (M)-III were given to MCPOs, CPOs, and sailors, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to duty.
The Chief of Naval Staff also issued Letters of Commendation to 60 officers, sailors, and civilian staff for their outstanding performance and valuable contributions to naval operations and administration. The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior, serving, and retired officers, reflecting the strong camaraderie within the Pakistan Navy.
This event underscores the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to recognizing talent, courage, and professional excellence. It aims to boost morale and inspire all ranks to continue serving with honor and dedication in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.
