ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly rejected recent media reports claiming it supplied non-nuclear ballistic missiles to Iran amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel. Officials called the claims false, baseless, and part of a deliberate propaganda campaign.
According to diplomatic and security sources in Islamabad, the reports making rounds on international and social media platforms have no truth. They stressed that Pakistan has not provided any missiles to Iran, nor is it involved in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
Moreover, officials dismissed a fake statement circulating on social media that falsely suggested Pakistan threatened a “nuclear response” against Israel in support of Iran. Authorities clarified that such claims are completely fabricated and do not reflect Pakistan’s stance.
Senior security officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that this misinformation appears to be spread by certain foreign and Indian media outlets. They believe the aim is to damage Pakistan’s international reputation and drag it into unnecessary controversies.
Pakistan has repeatedly called for peace and stability in the region and continues to support diplomatic solutions to international disputes. As missile exchanges between Iran and Israel continue, Islamabad maintains a neutral and peaceful stance.
The government reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to promoting regional harmony and will not be misled or provoked by false narratives designed to create tension and confusion.
