Unlocking the Potential of Blockchain Gaming: NIC Islamabad Workshop a Hit

Islamabad – The National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad recently hosted a dynamic workshop on game development and blockchain for gaming, featuring the Frostfire Technologies & Relymer team. The event drew a full house of eager participants, keen to explore the intricacies of blockchain technology, NFTs, and their application within the gaming industry.

The session provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of Decentralized Games in the field. A highlight of the event was a feature workshop by special guest Muhammad Umar, CEO of Relymer Group, who shared his extensive insights into the gaming industry’s evolution.

Umar’s also offered a unique perspective, tracing the 25-year journey of gaming from its early

stages to the current rise of decentralized “GameFi” utilities. While acknowledging the excitement surrounding blockchain gaming, Muhammad also emphasized the importance of addressing existing challenges within the technology. This led to a constructive dialogue with the audience about the potential shortcomings and future of decentralized gaming.

Looking ahead, Umar shared his vision for the future of gaming: “Final thoughts: I believe after 5 or 10 years there will be no centralized or decentralized gaming but only community-driven GAMES that ultimately strengthen community decisions through governance mechanisms.”

The NIC expressed its gratitude to the Frostfire Technologies team for their engaging session and valuable contributions to the local tech community. “What an amazing experience it was hosting the Frostfire Technologies team here at the National Incubation Center for a session on Game Development and Blockchain for Gaming,” the NIC stated. “The team was greeted by a full house of participants who were keen to learn more about the elusive Blockchain and NFTs, and to get their questions answered.”
