
KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed three terrorists in an alleged encounter in Korangi late on Thursday night.
According to reports, the CTD personnel cordoned off a house on the information about the presence of militants in Mehran Town area. CTD SSP Junaid Shaikh said the militants, killed in the shootout, were affiliated to a banned outfit and were involved in target killings. Weapons were also seized from the custody of the terrorists identified as Umer, Alam and Ranjha.
Meanwhile, two gang-war accused were also killed during encounter with police near Mayo Shah graveyard in Pak Colony area. Weapons and hand grenades were recovered from the possession of accused.
