TANK: District Nazim Mustafa Khan Kundi on Thursday said the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved Rs 10 million for establishment of sub-campus of the Gomal University in Tank. He told the reporters that the people of Tank, South Waziristan and frontier regions (FR) would finally get their dream of higher education near their homes. He said that a team consisting of senior officials of Gomal University visited Government College and Government Vocational Institute and other places for setting up the campus with full facilities.
He said that in its first phase the campus would introduce a degree in journalism, business administration, IR, public administration and in few other disciplines of arts. The district nazim said that district administration had also assured full support for establishment of sub-campus adding that 300 universities would be established across the country under Vision 2025.
