Elected LG representatives take oath of office in Larkana

LARKANA: The newly-elected Mayor of Larkana, deputy mayor, chairman, district council and vice chairman took oath of office at Shahnawaz Bhutto Library here on Tuesday. Mayor Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, Deputy Mayor Anwar Ali Luhar were administered oath by assistant commissioner, Larkana Masaud Bhutto. Chairman District Council Larkana, Khan Muhammad Sanghroo and Vice Chairman Abdul Hayee Shah were administered oath by additional deputy commissioner-II Ameer Ali Mirani. Syed Yar Ali Shah, AC, administered oath to four town committee’s elected chairman & vice chairmen which include Garrelo’s Irfan Ahmed & Zahoor Ahmed Kamario, Dokri’s Liaquat Ali Soomro and Bakhshal Khan Gilal, Areeja’s Mohsin Khan Channa and Fida Hussain Phulpoto respectively. Chairmen & vice chairmen of Ratodero & Naundero municipal committees who were administered oath by AC Ratodero Bilal Salim are Ghulam Mustafa Ghanghro & Syed Mehar Ali Shah of Ratodero, Allah Dino Bhutto & Sikander Ali Katpar of Naundero municipal committees respectively. After taking oath LG representatives went to Garhi Khuda Bux along with their supporters, PPP activists and offered prayers at graves of Bhutto leaders. Mayor Aslam Shaikh attributed his success to PPP and said his first priority will be to construct better roads and improve sewerage system of Larkana city.
