Petroleum price to drop by Rs 3: OGRA

ISLAMABAD: The government decided on Sunday to reduce the prices of petroleum products by Rs 3 per liter.

The step was taken to pass on the benefits to the consumer of reduced oil prices in the international market. According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), petroleum products’ prices will be reduced by Rs 3 and high speed diesel price by Rs 2.50.

Kerosene and furnace oil’s prices will also be reduced. According to the notification, the decision was taken in the cabinet’s meeting. It is worth mentioning here that the government will announce its decision on September 30.
