An important meeting was held at CM Office here on Monday which was attended by Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Federal Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister Planning & Development Asad Umer and Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood.

The meeting agreed to improve the working relationship with the PML-Q and further decided to continue the consultation process with the Q-League. It reiterated the commitment to continue working with the allied party at every level.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said the government is jointly working with PML-Q and would continue to do so. Necessary steps will be taken to improve the working relationship with the allied party, he added. He emphasized that those creating misconceptions would be frustrated and the alliance would be continued.

Governor Ch. Sarwar said that relations with the PML-Q will be further improved and added that this alliance is in the larger interest of the country which will be continued. Defence Minister Pervez Khattak said conspirators will be disappointed. We and allies are one and would remain so. Our relationship will be further strengthened in future, he added.

Federal P&D Minister Asad Umer announced to jointly solve the public problems and added that all matters will be solved amicably with the allies. The reservations of the PML-Q will be removed and cooperation will be continued, he added. Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that our purpose is to give maximum relief to the people and allies are with us in this regard. The problem will be jointly solved if there is any. Those who are trying to weaken the alliance will be foiled, he added.

Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar met with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Monday and discussed political situation and other matters of mutual interest. Talking on this occasion, Usman Buzdar said that administration has been activated to overcome price hike and vowed to leave no stone unturned to facilitate the common man. The corrupt Pakistan of the past has been buried and a transparent Pakistan is being promoted under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added.

The government is taking different steps for public welfare. Meanwhile, the opposition has no agenda except concealing its corruption but the political orphans will have to face defeat again. Nobody will be allowed to interrupt the process of public welfare, he added. Governor Ch. Sarwar vowed to continue jointly working for the welfare of the masses and added that government is more stabilized under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Separately, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has congratulated bowler Naseem Shah for becoming the youngest player to take Test hat-trick and added that it is an honor for the country as well as for the youngest bowler. Naseem Shah exhibited his best abilities and played an important role in Pakistan’s victory in the Test match. It is hoped that Naseem Shah will achieve many more successes in future by showing the best performance, the chief minister concluded.

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar also expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of Waqar Hasan, member of Pakistan’s inaugural Test team. In a message, he extended sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
