ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to take the political and parliamentary leadership of the country into confidence on the recent escalations with India. Official sources told Daily Times that the prime minister was scheduled to meet political and parliamentary leaders on current Pakistan India relations. After consultation with political parties a joint strategy would be devised. The prime minister will also take the parliament into confidence on his recent visit to the United Nations General Assembly. This joint session of parliament will be called next week, according to sources. Finance minister Ishaq Dar met with opposition leader Khursheed Shah and discussed the current political situation with him, inviting him for parliamentary parties’ leaders meeting. He also contacted other political parties leaders and invited them for a meeting on the prime minister’s behalf, sources disclosed.
