LAHORE: Two people, including a woman, were gunned down over some domestic issue in Shadbagh area on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Sajid and his mother Rehana Mujahid of Haji Park, Shadbagh. Police said that Sajid’s brother-in-law Faisal Butt came to his house after being informed about some domestic minor clash between Sajid and Faisal’s sister (husband and wife). Arguing over the issue, Faisal Butt got infuriated and opened fire at the mother and son. Sajid died on the spot while his mother received multiple bullet wounds. The accused managed to escape the crime scene. Upon being informed, a number of locals gathered at the spot and informed the police as well as rescue teams about incident. The injured woman was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police shifted the dead bodies to city mortuary for autopsy and did not register the case till the filing of this report. Meanwhile, an unidentified 25-year-old man was crushed to death by a speedy tractor trolley in Shahdra. Police said that the deceased, yet to be identified, was on his way when a rashly driven tractor trolley hit him badly near Wandala Pully. The driver managed to escape, but left the vehicle behind. The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital where he yielded to the injuries. Body was sent to morgue.
