Sir: I am writing this letter to inform concerned authorities about the issues that I faced and request them to inquire the authoritative and unfriendly behavior of HEC testing services officials and provide me justice. On 21 July 2019 HEC conducted Law Assessment Test (LAT), and I appeared for that in University of Sindh at Commerce department M-66 hall under roll number 51949. It must be brought into your knowledge that I am a disable person with vision-disability. Before appearing the above mentioned test, my guardians had met and requested HEC-LAT officials for doing a favour by allowing me to take my helper who could read me the questions so I can manage solving the test in the exam hall and I am allowed. Firstly, to my utter disappointment, officials on duty refused to take my helper with me. I lost many minutes because officials were discussing this matter and after many moments, they appointed a person who even could not write a single world. Thirdly, provided-helper was asking me for spellings of each and every word and I did not know how many spellings mistakes he has done. Lastly, not only written portion went average but I was unable to finish all optional questions because of his slow and unintelligible uttering. I am disappointed owing to what happened with me as a disable person; if such attitude towards disables continues, it can hinder the national progress. However, I am hopeful that concerned authorities would look into the matter and provide me justice. SHAHZEB ALI SOOMRO Betto Jatoi
