Woman among two killed, seven hurt in traffic mishap

RAWALPINDI: At least two persons including a woman have been killed, while seven others injured as tyre of car burst near Gujar Khan Area.

The family of Shahzad was going fraom Rawalpindi to Lahore in car QE-187 when tyre of car burst near Gujar Khan and it went out of control and plunged into ravine, leaving two persons dead while seven others injured.

The bodies and injured were rushed to local Hospital for medical treatment. The deceased include Azhar Ali, 13, a woman, while Amir, Ali, Khurram and females were injured in the incident. The police have started investigation.

Girl allegedly
abducted in Islamabad: A girl has allegedly been abducted within the Tarnol Police jurisdiction.

Gul Hussain, a resident of Tarnol, lodged a complaint with the local police that kidnappers have abducted his daughter, 17 from the local market. The police have registered a case and started investigation.

Woman looted at gunpoint: Two armed motorcyclists have looted a woman at gunpoint within Karachi Company police jurisdiction.

S lodged a complaint with the local police stating that she was returning from a local market when two armed motorcyclists waylaid and held her hostage at gunpoint. She told they snatched Rs 9,000 cell phone, ATM card and jewelry.

The police have registered a case and started investigation.

Mobile shop burgled: Two armed robbers have struck a mobile shop within Airport police jurisdiction.

Khalid lodged a complaint with the local police stating that two armed robbers stormed into his mobile shop and held him and his employee hostage at gunpoint. He said they ransacked the shop and made away with Rs 0.3 million and cell phones.

Car stolen: Auto thieves have stolen a car from parking lot of a market within Aabpara police jurisdiction. Fayaz lodged a complaint with the local police stating that he parked his car UZ 955 in parking lot of a market and went to market. He said when he returned he found his car missing as auto thieves have stolen his car. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
